1. Eligibility & Suitability
All dogs must complete a PlayDate assessment before joining daycare.
Dogs must be comfortable in a group environment and able to safely socialise with others.
Dogs showing persistent fear, aggression, excessive mounting, guarding, or unsafe behaviour may not be suitable for daycare.
Bloomingtails reserves the right to refuse or discontinue daycare for any dog whose behaviour poses a risk to themselves, other dogs, or staff.
2. Vaccinations, Health & Parasite Control
All dogs must be fully vaccinated against parvovirus, distemper, hepatitis, and leptospirosis.
Kennel cough vaccination is strongly recommended but not mandatory.
Dogs must be up to date with flea, tick, and worm treatment.
Dogs must be in good general health and free from contagious conditions.
Owners must inform Bloomingtails of any illness, injury, or change in health prior to attending daycare.
Bloomingtails may refuse entry if a dog appears unwell on arrival.
3. Neutering & Bitches in Season
Entire males may be accepted at Bloomingtails’ discretion depending on age, behaviour, and group dynamics.
Bitches in season are not permitted to attend daycare under any circumstances.
If a bitch comes into season unexpectedly, all upcoming bookings during that period must be cancelled or rescheduled.
4. Behaviour & Safety Expectations
Dogs must arrive wearing a secure collar or harness with an ID tag.
No choke chains, prong collars, slip leads used as tightening tools, or aversive equipment.
Dogs must be able to cope with:
Any behaviour that compromises safety may result in temporary or permanent exclusion.
5. Trial Sessions & Settling In
All new dogs must complete a PlayDate assessment to evaluate suitability.
Additional settling sessions may be required for nervous or young dogs.
Bloomingtails will always prioritise the dog’s welfare and will not force interactions or group play.
6. Owner Responsibilities
Owners must provide accurate information regarding their dog’s behaviour, health, and history.
Owners must disclose any incidents of aggression, reactivity, or behavioural concerns.
Dogs must arrive and leave on time for their booked session.
Owners must ensure their dog has had the opportunity to toilet before arrival.
7. Bloomingtails Responsibilities
Dogs are supervised at all times by trained staff.
Group sizes are managed to ensure safety and welfare.
Dogs are given structured rest, enrichment, and outdoor time.
Staff use only positive reinforcement and welfare‑based handling.
Bloomingtails will separate dogs if needed to maintain safety.
8. Emergencies & Veterinary Care
In the event of illness or injury, Bloomingtails will contact the owner immediately.
If urgent veterinary care is required, Bloomingtails may transport the dog to the nearest available vet.
Owners are responsible for all veterinary fees incurred.
Bloomingtails will always act in the dog’s best interest.
9. Weather Protocols
Outdoor time will be adjusted in extreme heat, cold, or adverse weather.
Shade, water, and cool‑down areas are always available.
Dogs may be kept indoors during unsafe conditions.

11. Payment & Cancellations
Payment is required on site before collection via cash, card, or bank transfer.
Cancellations must be made with reasonable notice.
Repeated no‑shows or late cancellations may result in refusal of future bookings.

While every effort is made to ensure safety, owners accept that daycare involves supervised off‑lead group play and carries inherent risks.
Bloomingtails is not liable for injury, illness, or behavioural changes that may occur, except in cases of negligence.
14. Late Collection Policy
If a dog is collected after 6:00pm, a late fee may be applied to cover additional staffing. If a dog is not collected by 6:30pm, Bloomingtails may contact emergency contacts or, if necessary, arrange temporary boarding at the owner’s expense.
Bloomingtails collects and stores your contact details, your dog’s information, and any relevant veterinary or behavioural notes for the purpose of providing safe and appropriate care. Your data is stored securely and never shared except with veterinary professionals in an emergency or licensing authorities if required.

By booking daycare, owners confirm they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
